Lehigh Valley’s Ian Holmes Launches the Sing the Dream Vocal Competition to Unite The Lehigh Valley’s Most Talented Singers and Performers
American Idol contestant, Ian Holmes is uniting performers throughout the Lehigh Valley thru the Sing the Dream Vocal Competition. Contestants must read The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s I Have a Dream speech and share in 100 words or less, along with their 3 minute vocal entry, how they intend to utilize their talent as a tool for justice and to unite people of every race, color and creed.
Local celebrity judges will review the video entries and select contestants for a live competition. All contestants will unite as s multicultural volunteer team to serve local charities and non-profits.. Local celebrity judges include
- Elizabeth Anthony, owner of Elizabeth Anthony’s Beauty Salon on 17th Street in Allentown PA . She is the lead hair coordinator for Lehigh Valley Fashion Week and also styles behind the scenes for New York Fashion Week
- Kimberly Holmes, owner of Kimprint Web and Graphic Design; who has overseen successful social media campaigns for artists, authors and international product launches
- Deborah D’Haiti, a sought-after and accomplished theatre performer who has graced the stages of the Pennsylvania Playhouse in several performances throughout the years. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will each receive performance training in stage presence and delivery, vocal coaching, a makeover, complimentary photo shoot, and a full social media marketing campaign.
Each entry into the competition is is $20. The first place winner will receive the ultimate prize of a studio recording package and their very own CD single release produced by Ian Holmes.
